Why did you join the technology industry?

It is fast and vibrant sector. There are always new challenges to face and more technology to embrace. Being in the industry means that I see the art of the possible.

Who is the person who has inspired you professionally?

There isn’t one person that I can name because I take inspiration from many people. I believe a good leader takes influences and inspiration from multiple people to enhance their skills.

If you could give one piece of advice to your 13 year old self what would it be?

Be an individual, strive for what you want, embrace everything that life sends your way but stay true to your desires and path.

How do you think we can encourage more women in tech?

I do think that the fact that every young person walks around with a piece of technology, i.e. their phone, is helping them all embrace technology. By engaging with technology early and getting excited about what the latest advancement will be means that it is no longer just about gaming or programming, I think this is opening up the eyes of young women.

What is the best part of your job?

Best part of my job is two fold – firstly, to meet with customers and understand how they maximise our products to achieve their desired business outcome, whether they are selling their products, finding advancements in scientific research, raising money for charity, or delivering internal IT systems.

Secondly, I enjoy seeing and helping people grow and flourish and realize their potential.
